Clippers ---> Week 20

Sorry for missing a week. Midterms and Finals.

Games for this Week: (0-1)15-49

March 10th vs. Cavaliers ---> Lost 83-87

Without a true closer to go to, even though Baron Davis SHOULD be it, and Eric is too inexpierenced, the Clips lost a game they should have easily won, especially with that big of a lead.

Coach Dunleavy showed truly how dumb he is down the stretch, playing Kaman during the whole Cleveland run, preferring someone in their first game back after missing 50 than the Cambyman, who has been amazing this year.

Damn shame how this game ended.

March 14th @ Denver

Tough team to rebound against, but anything is possible.

March 15th vs. Nets

The team is selling tickets by hyping up Vince Carter, rather than their own team.."hey, watch us get owned by Vince Carter"

Clippers ---> Week 17

They got absolutely humiliated against the Suns. I'm going to go into that in the game analysis.

However, I do find it embarassing that this team seems like they need to be babied, like a high school team.

They don't won't stay motivated, play recklessly, complain, all that high school crap that was supposed to be out of your system in college.

But no, I have to say they're holding up the reputation of the Clippers by getting destroyed like this. I give them that.

Clips, just get a lottery pick, stay healthy, and at least TRY to win 40 games next year. damn.

Games for this Week: (0-3)13-43

Feb 17th @ Pheonix ---> Lost 100-140

Here we go. What kind of bs is this? First of all, you shoot 43%. You get ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED on the boards, 50+ to around 20. You turn the ball over 20+ times. I'm suprised this team got 100 points. Honestly.

Now, the defense.

Grant Hill, Amar'e Stoudemire, and Leonardo Barbosa all got 20+ points in around 20-25 minutes. 67 points in 70 minutes between a star and 2 role players. Shaq didn't miss one shot or free throw in 21 minutes. Steve Nash had 10 assists in 25 minutes.

One would think that with the reserves in, the Clips would climb back within a reasonable margin, but guys like Dragic, Barnes, and Admunson just executed them to death and embarassed the Clippers. Embarassed them. At least Eric had a nice game.

This was a Suns team without Jason Richardson, with a new head coach, and a WORLD of troubles surrounding the team, and the Clips were supposed to jump on it, but with Camby out with an ear infection, and Z-Bo getting himself ejected in the first quarter, they quit on the game and couldn't stand a chance. Game over.

Feb 18th vs. Suns ---> Lost 119-142

Terrble Performance. You would think that they would have the presence of mind to adjust their defense to play the same team they played a night before, and they probably tried to. But when execution is non-existent, it's like not preparing at all.

Feb 22nd @ Portland ---> Lost 87-116

The Clips had a shortage of big men, and the Blazers surely took advantage of it, out-rebounding the Clips by 18, and out-assisting them by 21 thanks to Steve Blake's 17 assists. The Blazers shot 50+% and the Clips shot in the 30s, they got to the line 31 times, but that doesn't matter when you make only 29 field goals.

Before Z-Bo and Baron came back, the problem was offense, but now, it's defense. Is this sending a sign that the stars need to buckle down on defense too?

Quote(s) of the Week ---> Baron Davis

We just got dominated out there.

Peace! And Much Love To You.

Clippers ---> Week 15

January -- 2 Wins

Need I say more? This team is a bunch of helpless children without their stars playing. That includes the Coach.

Someone help them..they've been the spot for injuries and boredom ever since the year they made it to the sec

ond round..and the D-Miles, Q-Rich, hi-fly Clips in the early 2000s.

They capped off the month with a loss to the worst team in the league, the Washington Wizards.

At least Baron and Marcus and back, and Zach is closer to a return..as for Chris...eh..who knows?

4 games this week, and I think they're losing all four..all on the road too.

#1 pick, here we come!!!!!

Games for this Week: (2-2)12-39

Feb 2nd @ Miami ---> Lost 95-119

Don't tell me you plan to give up 119 and win a game with the kind of offense you've been playing.

Say it ain't so.

They were outrebounded by 10+, and shooting 43% while giving up 50+ isn't going to get you any wins in this league.

D-Wade destroyed whoever he was guarding, and their starting guards almost cracked 10 assists EACH, plus Beasley came off the bench to add efficient scoring.

The Clips? Hey, Z-Bo is back!

22 pts - 7-7 FT

Feb 4th @ Orlando ---> Lost 96-125

When you get out-rebounded and out-shot, you're not going to win...embarassing to get blown out like that.

They have to start scoring.

Feb 6th @ Memphis ---> Won 126-105

They're back. What a win for the Clips!!

Ricky Davis came on strong, and they defended and rebounded enough for them to keep the Grizzlies out of the game.

Amazing win. Hopefully they can keep this going.

24 pts - 6-10 3ptFGs              23 pts - 8-8 FT                     35 pts - 10 rebs

Feb 7th @ Atlanta ---> Won 121-97

I would have never thought that this team could even SNEAK out a win in Atlanta.

But, they actually blew them out on their home floor. The Clips are back. A little too late, but back nonetheless.

31 pts - 7 rebs - 6 asts          25 pts - 9 rebs

Quote(s) of the Week ---> Coach Dunleavy

Tonight was as close as we've been to our normal rotation

Clippers ---> Week 14

Oh, Baron Davis, Zach Randolph, Marcus Camby, Chris Kaman, HOW WE MISS YE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to another injury filled week with the Los Angeles Clippers, please see the menu for torn ligaments and bones, and ask for the chef's special of strains and sprains for this evening, thank you.

Get my drift? A team going out there with 8 players..two with potential, but not ready to run a team yet, 3 veteran role players who have never been that good, and 3 young guys with potential to be on the level of the other two with the great potential.

4 games this week, capped off with a back-to-back road trip. You can pretty much count the Portland and Cleveland games as losses, but the Wizards and Bulls, they could beat.

Baron Davis could return for the road trip, same with Camby, but Randolph is probably out til the all-star break.

At least they're trying.

Games for this Week: (0-4)10-37

Jan 26th vs. Trailblazers ---> Lost 88-113

Am I a Jinx? I've been praising their defense as of late, and then they come out and lay this egg. 113 against a average offensive team? B-Roy destoyed them, and the Clips just don't have enough firepower to fight back, as the balanced scoring suddenly disappeared as 3 men off the bench were held scoreless.

Have they given up on the season? It may be true that there's no way that they're going to make the playoffs, but as a professional, you must never give up and let teams walk all over you like that.

Get it together, guys.

20 pts - 50% FGs                23 pts - 3 stls                   19 pts -  7 asts - 6-6 FT

Jan 28th vs. Bulls ---> Lost 75-95

Bad news: Clips get destroyed in the third quarter after keeping it close.

Good news: Baron and Marcus are back.

Jan 30th @ Cleveland ---> Lost 95-112

The Cavs had fun with them that night..and the Clips were subject to the bullying.

Jan 31st @ Washington ---> Lost 94-106

Ouch. Lost to the worst team in the league, record-wise..

Quotes of the Week ---> Coach Dunleavy

We were a little unfortunate to catch them on a night they got Ilgauskas back

They're unfortunate to catch any team, on any night.

Peace! And Much Love To You.
