Clippers ---> Week 17

Terrible.

They got absolutely humiliated against the Suns. I'm going to go into that in the game analysis.

However, I do find it embarassing that this team seems like they need to be babied, like a high school team.

They don't won't stay motivated, play recklessly, complain, all that high school crap that was supposed to be out of your system in college.

But no, I have to say they're holding up the reputation of the Clippers by getting destroyed like this. I give them that.

Clips, just get a lottery pick, stay healthy, and at least TRY to win 40 games next year. damn.

Games for this Week: (0-3)13-43

Feb 17th @ Pheonix ---> Lost 100-140

Here we go. What kind of bs is this? First of all, you shoot 43%. You get ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED on the boards, 50+ to around 20. You turn the ball over 20+ times. I'm suprised this team got 100 points. Honestly.

Now, the defense.

Grant Hill, Amar'e Stoudemire, and Leonardo Barbosa all got 20+ points in around 20-25 minutes. 67 points in 70 minutes between a star and 2 role players. Shaq didn't miss one shot or free throw in 21 minutes. Steve Nash had 10 assists in 25 minutes.

One would think that with the reserves in, the Clips would climb back within a reasonable margin, but guys like Dragic, Barnes, and Admunson just executed them to death and embarassed the Clippers. Embarassed them. At least Eric had a nice game.

This was a Suns team without Jason Richardson, with a new head coach, and a WORLD of troubles surrounding the team, and the Clips were supposed to jump on it, but with Camby out with an ear infection, and Z-Bo getting himself ejected in the first quarter, they quit on the game and couldn't stand a chance. Game over.

Feb 18th vs. Suns ---> Lost 119-142

Terrble Performance. You would think that they would have the presence of mind to adjust their defense to play the same team they played a night before, and they probably tried to. But when execution is non-existent, it's like not preparing at all.

Feb 22nd @ Portland ---> Lost 87-116

The Clips had a shortage of big men, and the Blazers surely took advantage of it, out-rebounding the Clips by 18, and out-assisting them by 21 thanks to Steve Blake's 17 assists. The Blazers shot 50+% and the Clips shot in the 30s, they got to the line 31 times, but that doesn't matter when you make only 29 field goals.

Before Z-Bo and Baron came back, the problem was offense, but now, it's defense. Is this sending a sign that the stars need to buckle down on defense too?

Clippers ---> Week 16

They're back.

Too late, but back nonetheless..two huge victories last week has this team on cloud 9, and with Kaman and Collins due back after the break, they can only get higher.

Only two games this week, due to the all star break, so two wins would add the greatest momentum to the team.

Knicks and Bobcats are two sub-.500 teams, which they should beat.

Undefeated for a week? Rest will do this team some good.

See you next week Chris and Mardy!! But now, Clips got some business to handle.

Let's do it.

PLAY LOUD!!

Games for this Week: (1-1)13-40

Feb 9th @ Charlotte ---> Lost 73-94

73 points is a damn shame. A normal team scores that after THREE quarters!!! Why is it that the Clips are the team that coaches try stuff out on? Vlad was in the lineup for the Cats, and Emeka had his first start a PF since last year, but they get shut down on offense and couldn't pull away with a damn victory after keeping it close all game.

The story of this team. About ten straight losses, two, three wins in a row, and then look like a high school team again. I'm actually surprised that they didn't crack 40 last month. At least they didn't alow 150 points. But shooting 39% and 58% from the stripe isn't going to let you win.

20 pts - 10 rebs - 4 asts

Feb 11th vs. Knicks ---> Won 128-124

Hello, inconsistent. Usually the Clips play decent defense, and rarely score, but for the first time in a long while, the Clips won a shootout. Clips got the stops when they needed to, and shot 51% from the field, with 15 three pointers made and a ridiculous 40 assists.

Scoring and passing like this is the key to winning in this league, but this kind of defense is not going to cut it, when you let their little point guard, Nate Robinson, but up 33-15-9-5, with only one turnover! Come on!

But Baron Davis nicely countered him with 20 dimes, and capped off the game with a big 3..let's hope they keep this going after the all star break.

22 pts - 15 rebs         20 pts - 8 rebs         30 pts - 5 asts - 2 blks              13 points - 20 asts                23 pts - 7 rebs

Quote(s) of the Week ---> Eric Gordon

We definitely needed to find some momentum before the All-Star break, we got our guys back together and we're starting to get the chemistry back.

Clippers ---> Week 15

January -- 2 Wins

Need I say more? This team is a bunch of helpless children without their stars playing. That includes the Coach.

Someone help them..they've been the spot for injuries and boredom ever since the year they made it to the sec

ond round..and the D-Miles, Q-Rich, hi-fly Clips in the early 2000s.

They capped off the month with a loss to the worst team in the league, the Washington Wizards.

At least Baron and Marcus and back, and Zach is closer to a return..as for Chris...eh..who knows?

4 games this week, and I think they're losing all four..all on the road too.

#1 pick, here we come!!!!!

Games for this Week: (2-2)12-39

Feb 2nd @ Miami ---> Lost 95-119

Don't tell me you plan to give up 119 and win a game with the kind of offense you've been playing.

Say it ain't so.

They were outrebounded by 10+, and shooting 43% while giving up 50+ isn't going to get you any wins in this league.

D-Wade destroyed whoever he was guarding, and their starting guards almost cracked 10 assists EACH, plus Beasley came off the bench to add efficient scoring.

The Clips? Hey, Z-Bo is back!

22 pts - 7-7 FT

Feb 4th @ Orlando ---> Lost 96-125

When you get out-rebounded and out-shot, you're not going to win...embarassing to get blown out like that.

They have to start scoring.

Feb 6th @ Memphis ---> Won 126-105

They're back. What a win for the Clips!!

Ricky Davis came on strong, and they defended and rebounded enough for them to keep the Grizzlies out of the game.

Amazing win. Hopefully they can keep this going.

24 pts - 6-10 3ptFGs              23 pts - 8-8 FT                     35 pts - 10 rebs

Feb 7th @ Atlanta ---> Won 121-97

I would have never thought that this team could even SNEAK out a win in Atlanta.

But, they actually blew them out on their home floor. The Clips are back. A little too late, but back nonetheless.

31 pts - 7 rebs - 6 asts          25 pts - 9 rebs

Quote(s) of the Week ---> Coach Dunleavy

Tonight was as close as we've been to our normal rotation
